Born in the heart of the world's glove industry.
Southeast Asia makes most of the world's disposable gloves. Sumba was created right here, out of a simple frustration: too many gloves were sold on price alone, with inconsistent sizing, thin spots and packaging that told buyers nothing.
We set out to build a glove brand that a workshop owner in Bangkok, a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur and a distributor in Warsaw could all rely on in the same way. That meant choosing certified manufacturing partners, testing to European standards, and designing packaging that is honest about what each glove is — and what it isn't.
Our name says it simply. Sumba stands for steady, dependable protection — the kind you stop thinking about because it never lets you down. Today Sumba gloves protect hands across Thailand and Malaysia and travel by air and sea to customers across Europe.
